NEXT EVENT - July 2019


Community Tree Planting July 28 2019. Cow Bay 9 - 11.30 am (8.30 am registration).

Have fun and make a difference. We will be planting 1000 trees (holes already dug) on roadside reserve on Silkwood Road (off Cape Tribulation Road) in Cow Bay in the Daintree (map below). Just look for the A-board signs just past Crocodylus, and pull in for safe off road parking. More information is listed below. Look forward to seeing you there. 

LOCATION and information

  • Please arrive 30 minutes before start time for registration.

  • Holes are pre-dug and trowels are supplied.

  • Please wear closed-in shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, gloves and a suitable hat.

  • Please bring water, any food required, sunscreen and insect repellant. 

  • Please follow safety and tree-planting guidelines on the day.

  • Children must be accompanied at all times.

  • No dogs please - this area is within National Park.

  • For those making a day of it, there is a great hotel just minutes away for cool beverages and really good lunches.
