Another 2500 trees planted

Following a successful grant application from F.A.M.E (Foundation for Australia's Most Endangered), in conjunction with ReForest Now, we have just planted another 2500 trees (made up of 112 species) on four old unused service roads in Cow Bay in the heart of the Daintree. All these areas are prime Cassowary and Bennett's Tree-kangaroo habitat, so as the trees grow it will provide valuable habitat and food resource for these and a myriad of other wildlife. Closing these old roads is helping wind back damage done in the past from the failed subdivision in the 1980's, and healing 'scars' in the rainforest.
